Katherine sat on one of the many chairs in the Salvatore house. Of course she knew it wasn't exactly a good idea to stay here but why shouldn't she? Katherine still had much to prove to Stefan, and besides, annoying Damon and Elena was always an amusing activity for her.
Crossing her elegant legs, she wondered where everyone was. The house seemed quiet, but it was most likely a good thing for her. At the moment, it was best to avoid any unnecessary drama. Katherine stood and went down into the cellar to get a blood bag. Since no one seemed to be around, she would help herself.
Katherine came to the conclusion that Stefan and Damon where just off enjoying the fact the Klaus was dead, no one was harmed and Elena, their precious little Engel didn't die. What a shame. Sitting down in a new chair, a glass full of blood in hand, she smirked at nothing. Maybe causing a little drama could be fun.

Damon wondered through town, more out of listening to town gossip and making sure everything was sound in the area. They didn't need another bad guy or new vampires popping up right after Klaus was gone. It didn't seem like the nature of being excited. Then again, maybe a little danger could help keep him preoccupied.
He was getting much bored of this town. Yes, he had some what of a life here now with people, {rolling his eyes in wanting to regret this next thought) that he actually cared about and some that cared if he was dead or alive. Including his brother whom he seemed to finally be getting along with after so many years. Then again, that was probably only because Damon was behaving himself. He seemed to be doing an awful lot of behaving with Elena around. He sighed in thought of such things, he missed the more evil version of himself.
He tried to think of that fact that maybe she wasn't worth so much? Kathrine hadn't been and he had wasted too much of his life obsessing over her. As he exhaled slowly he realized that dead ended thought wasn't going to change the fact that he loved her. Once in love, one is sooner or later bound to that love's limits... even for Damon. And that is a pretty good defeat for his part.
Before he realized he had found himself back to the boarding house. As he approached the house, he could smell which had sat minutes ago above the chair. It was definitely vampire. As he opened the door, a larger amount of the scent floated to his nose and he then realized it was Katherine. He sighed once more not really feeling in the mood to deal with her. He turned to see her sitting, glass in hand, in a chair. Apparently happy with herself or some possible idea that showed from some smirk that ran across her face. "Oh, what do I honor your presence today, Katherine," he eyed her questioningly as he made his way to the bar. It was about drink time with her here.

As Damon entered the room, Katherine smirked up at him. She raised her glass to him as she watched him get a drink of his own. She swirlled the liquid in her glass, which was much thicker than Damon's and she conpemplated what to say. So she shrugged.
"I have nothing better to do," She said with a bored voice as she stared into her glass. She gazed back at him sideways, a small smirk still playing on her lips. "A better question would be what did I do to deserve the presence of you, Damon? Got bored with your humans?" She said the words in the most gentle tone she could mangage.
Katherine may sometimes go looking for trouble, but she was in no mood to deal with Damon and his short temper. Besides, if she was going to play with anyone, it would be Stefan. For one, Stefan was much more weak than Katherine was, due to his lack of human blood. And also, he was too soft. He would never truly kill Katherine, because deep down, she knew that he loved her as she loved him.
But Damon, well Damon hated her; even if she did help them all defeat Klaus. It's not as though she cared about that, however. She had one reason to stay and she was not going to leave without getting what she wanted.

Damon rolled his eyes drastically as he poured his glass of bourbon. He swirled it around and took in a whiff of the abundant smell. It was the most perfect smell known to him, other than many human's blood. But there was days when just his bourbon would suit just well for him. Something about the nostalgic feeling of feeling some drunkenness from his human days. He took a swag and breathed in the fiery mist of it's taste. He smiled more at his own happiness than at her, but tried none-the-less to be polite to her. Only because it seemed to get a better answer out of her then to be upfront and asshole-ic to her.
"Your bored, and you show up at my place. I feel.... touched." He thought for the word that seemed to have the most impact. Though honestly he could care less what her answer was, he more than enough hated her to want her no where near his place. He stared at her blankly as if to really taken in what she asked and to give his non-emotional answer. "By my presence? Is this not my house?" he asked coldly. "I think I have a little more right than you do to be here." he added trying to show his deep desire for her to leave. He ignored her human comment as he was trying not to drink from humans as much as possible and be a 'good boy.' Though it was slightly killing him inside each day.
"So since you bored, and I'm sure I will be no more fun than before I got here, why don't use find somewhere else to go be bored?" he asked knowing her answer wouldn't suit him well. He took a seat across from her and kicked up his feet on a foot stool. He laid his hands around his drinking, resting on his stomach. He felt quite comfy and let he know how comfy he was in the desire that she got the idea he wasn't moving anywhere for her pleasure.
